New evening DBT Skills group starting February 21st!

New Evening Emotions Management DBT Skills Group

Starting Tuesday, February 21st at 5pm!

We are excited to announce that Dr. Tamar Kodish here at COPE will be starting an evening virtual DBT Skills group beginning February 21st to accommodate the schedules of individuals who are unable to take time off during the regular work day. This group is in addition to our DBT Skills group on Thursdays at 9am that is facilitated by Dr. Rubin Khoddam.

WHEN: Tuesdays at 5pm beginning on February 21st.

WHAT: DBT skills group is designed to help individuals learn ways of managing emotions, changing behavior, and fostering healthier relationships. Individuals are welcome to join at any point in the 16 week cycle though we do encourage individuals to join at the beginning.

16 skills will be taught across the 4 different modules:

  1. Mindfulness
  2. Interpersonal Effectiveness
  3. Emotion Regulation
  4. Distress Tolerance

WHO: The group is open to all California residents and

WHERE: Virtual

FEE: $80/group
